Holocaust Link

The Holocaust (HaShoah, in Hebrew) is the term that describes the murder of six million Jews in Europe during World War II that was orchestrated by the National Socialist ('Nazi') Party in Germany. The Holocaust Wing of the Jewish Virtual Library contains articles, original documents, a holocaust glossary, a bibliography, and much more, all covering The Holocaust. This link has many intersting links filled with a great deal of information about the Holocaust.

Reaction to The Holocaust Links

The site that I visited gave me a good insight on the atrocities that occurred during those terrible times. I had known about the holocaust before but not in such depth. It was difficult to read some of the survivor’s testimony and how they were able to survive through all of it. So much suffering that so many endured. The murder of so many innocent people for no reason sadden me. So many families being torn apart & transported in train cars to "death camps". The thought of it all is absolutely inconceivable.

Reasaerch Blueprint

I have decided that my topic for the writing assignment will be on the causes of obesity. I will be researching two causes of obesity. The first will be on slow metabolism and the affect that it has on obesity. The other will be on the lack of physical activity and the role that it plays on obesity. I'll probably do some of my research in the library and see what kind of information I can find on obesity. I will also go on the internet and databases. I still am not sure how to start my paper but I am ready and willing to give it my all.
